I have been working in B2B marketing and sales roles for over 25 years, primarily for oil and gas service companies such as Halliburton, Precision Drilling, Knowledge Systems and Verdande Technology. In 2014 I started Highway 9 Consulting to help B2B companies transform their traditional marketing efforts into ones that are digitally-oriented and easier to measure and track. With Highway 9, I have helped over 25 B2B industrial and technology companies improve their marketing and sales programs, ranging from startups seeking Series A investment to PE-backed established companies and larger publicly-traded corporations. I have rolled out sales processes, trained sales teams, conducted numerous brand strategy and integration projects, developed marketing communications plans, commercialized new technology, and served as a fractional CMO or VP of Sales. My wife Cheryl sells promotional items for Pegg Products, and my daughter Olivia is studying advertising at the University of Texas. I also have a son Jack, who is a freshman at Texas Tech, and a son Ben who is a sophomore in high school.
