Matthew Childress, Managing Director & Regional Sales & Marketing Leader at PwC will discuss his experience in driving a digital and cultural transformation of a 150 year old accounting and consulting firm that is accelerating its ability to provide solutions to its clients and enabling its scaled growth.
Over the course of his career, Matthew has worked across 4 continents to re-engineer services organizations to drive a growth-focused culture and accelerated profitability. Originally a technology and management consultant, Matthew transitioned to leadership roles in multiple mid-sized systems integration firms, primarily focused on brand re-definition and growth.
Matthew is currently at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) where he is responsible for marketing and account development for the $1B Greater Texas region. In this role he leads PwC’s sales and marketing organizations, as well as directing PwC’s partner network to grow the Greater Texas region across all PwC service lines.
Matthew received his undergraduate degree in Finance (BBA) from The University of Texas at Austin, his Masters in Information Systems (MBA) from The University of Houston and attended graduate studies at Rice University.
