2019 October Luncheon
Energy & eCommerce: How to adapt to online trends
Presented by Jamie Efurd, Marketing Director, CARBO,
Presentation Summary: As consumers, we've recognized the ongoing growth and power of digital and online sales in our everyday lives...and Amazon shows us this every day. We have become more independent in price comparisons, product reviews and have paired this with higher expectations in order fulfillment and delivery times. As business players in the energy industry, we shouldn't expect that these trends and buying behaviors will not expand further into our industry. This presentation will cover trends in eCommerce, the importance of thinking about eCommerce for your organization and how, through a case example, the implementation of eCommerce can not only lead to breakthroughs in your organization but in your career too.
The purpose of this presentation is to kickstart your thinking about eCommerce (if you haven’t already!) and begin to think how your organization may be able to incorporate to address changing buying behaviors...and by doing so, can breakthrough the norms and gain experience in areas that exceed your “marketing” role.
